What This Group Is
This course is a short, small-group writing practice designed to support reflection during periods of uncertainty and change.
Across six weekly sessions, participants are invited to explore experience through gentle writing prompts and shared reflection. The focus is not on producing polished work or finding definitive answers, but on giving shape to thoughts, feelings, and questions that may feel difficult to hold alone.

Writing is used as a way of noticing, orienting, and making sense, particularly when familiar structures feel unstable. Sessions offer time to slow down, attend carefully to experience, and reconnect with one’s own voice in a supportive, contained setting.

How This Group Works
A steady weekly rhythm
Six facilitated sessions held online, offering a consistent, supportive structure.
Guided writing practice
Gentle writing invitations support reflection and sense making without pressure to produce or perform.
Choice and agency
Participants decide what they write and what, if anything, they share. Listening is also participation.
A contained group space
Clear boundaries around care and confidentiality create a calm, respectful environment.
Reflective, not therapeutic
The group supports reflection through writing and is not a substitute for therapy.
Core Outcomes
Participants often leave the course with a steadier sense of orientation and a clearer way of relating to uncertainty through writing.

Greater clarity in uncertain moments
Firsthand experience of the tone, pacing, and way writing invitations and discussion are held.

A renewed connection to personal voice
Participants trust their own perspective, rather than being overwhelmed by external noise.

Practical writing practices to return to
Simple, repeatable writing invitations provide ongoing support beyond the course itself.

A relationship to change and ambiguity
Uncertainty becomes something that can be approached with curiosity and attention.
This group fosters support and a more grounded, reflective way of navigating change, using writing as a steady companion rather than a solution to be reached.

My Role as Host
My role is to hold a calm, attentive space in which reflective writing can take place without pressure or direction. I set the structure and tone of each session, offer carefully chosen readings and writing invitations, and maintain clear boundaries around care, choice, and confidentiality.
I support the group through presence, pacing, and facilitation, allowing each person to explore experience in their own way within a shared container.
I stay alongside the process as it unfolds, without steering it toward particular insights or outcomes.
