When you're looking for meaning not answers
This is a six month creative writing journey held within a closed, women only group.
The work unfolds through regular facilitated sessions and optional writing invitations between meetings. The emphasis is on continuity, reflection, and returning to the work over time, rather than intensity or production.
There is no expectation to produce finished pieces or to share writing publicly.

Why Six Months?
This course is intentionally six months long because the work it invites cannot be rushed. Writing that seeks to engage with experience shaped over time benefits from a steady pace rather than short-term intensity.
Extended duration allows trust to develop in the group, in the process, and in one’s own relationship to writing.
Earlier pieces can be revisited and re-read in light of later work, creating continuity and integration rather than isolated insight.

What Participants
Often Notice
Insight - Increased emotional awareness
Agency - Clearer boundaries
Homecoming - A greater sense of belonging
Expression - Renewed confidence in creative voice
Body of work - A growing collection of writing
Core Outcomes
Participants often notice subtle but lasting shifts over time. Rather than quick results, the course supports changes that develop steadily through practice, reflection, and care.

A steady, sustainable writing practice
Writing becomes something you can return to regularly, without pressure or self judgement.

Greater confidence in your own voice
Participants develop trust in how they write, regardless of experience.

The ability to work with resistance
Silence, uncertainty, and blocks are understood as part of the creative process.

A meaningful body of personal work
Many participants leave with a collection of writing that reflects their journey through the course.
What remains is not just writing, but a quieter confidence in one’s voice and a way of working that can continue long after the course ends.

Commitment and Participation
This course runs as a closed group over six months on alternate Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. A shared commitment to the full duration supports safety, trust, and depth.
Participants tend to gain the most when they are able to return regularly, even when their level of participation varies.

My Role as Host
My role is to hold the space in which the work can unfold without pressure or direction.
I set the frame, maintain continuity, and attend to the emotional and creative climate of the group. Writing is met with presence rather than evaluation.
Feedback focuses on noticing what is visible on the page and in the process, supporting participants in developing trust in their own judgement and voice.
