When we are young, the words are scattered all around us. As they are assembled by experience, so also are we, sentence by sentence, until the story takes shape.
Louise Erdrich, The Plague of Doves
When you're looking for meaning not answers
Over time, personal narratives can fragment or drift from what once mattered. What restores coherence is not correction, but reflective space: slowing the process, listening carefully, and allowing meaning to be re-formed in its own time.
This is a place to slow down

You’re in the Right Place
If you are curious about writing as a way to listen, reflect, and make sense of your experience, this is for you.
The stories we live by influence how we see ourselves and how we act; learning to notice and work with them can create room for choice, responsibility, and change.
I am especially attentive to how relationships, institutions, and early settings shape identity, voice, and belonging. This is warm, considered work, rooted in the belief that writing can be a quiet force for connection, wellbeing, and repair.

Taster Session
I found the taster session thought provoking and emotionally illuminating. I attended boarding school in Nigeria between the ages of 11 and 16 and was surprised by how strongly the themes resonated with my experiences and the ways they continue to shape adult life. The session illuminated how achievement and outward capability can coexist with emotional suppression and quiet isolation.

Taster Session
What I learned from this experience is absorbed into my overall awareness and understanding of life. The way Lucy worked sparked what felt like a profound shift for me. This revolved around the kind of questions she put to us, I was able to come up with spontaneous insights, less filtered than usual by my analytical mind.

Taster Session
I am on an ongoing journey of recovery from boarding school syndrome. Lucy offers a creative, powerful and safe way in which to explore some of this difficult material. There is something important about being able to share this trauma in a group setting which is facilitated so sensitively and thoughtfully through the medium of writing.

Taster Session
I thought this a very useful way of revisiting the past and make it less hidden. The approach was impactful and very useful.

Living with Uncertainty
The wellbeing writing sessions led by Lucy were transformative for me. Having thought I would be completely out of my depth, the supportive, positive sessions enabled me to write and share my writing with others in the group.

Living with Uncertainty
The wellbeing writing sessions led by Lucy gave me a sense of freedom to express myself. I felt secure in both groups and, while writing, I was able to reflect on myself through the words. Each session provided me with a new approach to developing my understanding of the world in a creative way. It was a magical, joyful experience for me.

Living with Uncertainty
My mood definitely improved because it felt like I had achieved something I didn’t know I could do.
The sessions were so positive and inclusive. A sense of connectedness was there at every session.
For me, the sharing of the work, and hearing the contribution of the other participants made a huge impact.
